Admissions
Group A
BA students (third-year or nearly-graduates) Graduate students (MA and PhD) in Humanities (e.g.: Literary Studies, Shakespeare Studies, Theatre and Performance Studies, History, Philosophy, Anthropology, Media and Film Studies, Cultural Studies, Art, Modern Languages etc.);
2) Candidates holding an MA or PhD degree in Humanities;
3) English literature schoolteachers.
Group B:
1) Students and graduates in Conservatoires and equivalent Acting Schools;
2) Candidates with adequate experience.
Group C:
Journalists, writers, dramaturgs, directors, theatre critics, students and professionals in media and communication, literature students.
Application
Applicants are required to fill in the Application Form and upload the following:
Group B:
1. CV and actor’s headshot or recent photograph.
2. Statement of interest (500 words).
3. Brief self-tape.
Group C:
1. CV.
2. Statement of interest (500 words).
3. Brief reportage (1 min) OR review
Certificate of attendance:
Students will receive a certificate of attendance.
Number of ECTS equivalence: 6.
Fees
Fee: € 330.
Reduced fee for partner institutions' students: € 180

The fee includes: participation in the Summer School and the Verona Shakespeare Fringe Festival, insurance, reading materials.
Italian high school teachers may have the possibility to use their teaching bonus (‘bonus docente’) to pay the fee because the activities of the Summer School are recognized by the SOFIA platform.
