My first project as Director of the Sundukyan Centre for Global Production and Research at the National Theatre of Armenia is a production of Romeo and Juliet, which premieres July 23rd at the 2026 Verona Shakespeare Fringe Festival. This multi-media talk describes the show’s directorial approach, including issues relevant to the venues, adaptation, dramaturgy, casting, scenography, costumes, music, and acting of the production.  Includes images, drawings, designs, inspirations, and – if we’re lucky – a joke or two!
